I'm In Love!

No no no, not the girl, this lens! Sure she's cute as heck but much too young for me. I was in Toronto and stopped in a camera store and picked up a Sigma 30/1.4 on impluse. My other fast lens is the Canon cheapie 50mm/f1.8 and that 0.4 makes a HUGE difference to shutter speed in low light. I've read that the people who have this say it's their favourite lens and I can see why. Fast, colourful, sharp. I had the Canon 50mm/f1.4 on before and took a couple of pics in the store and even on my LCD the colour difference was astonishing and as soon as I saw it, I was hooked. The image of my dog is the Sigma 30 at 1.4 and 1/125 sec. Completely unadjusted in any way except for resizing.

OK, back to the cute teenager. Her mom made it a point to tell me no less than three times she was the girls mom. So answer me this question...

1) Was I giving off some creepy vibe?

2) The daughter has a history of running off with older, but still nubile, men and could see it was on so was stepping in?

3) The mom wanted me to know she was indeed, the one closer to my age, since it was on?

4) Make up your own silly answer - I'd like to hear what some of you can come up with ;)
