500 Steps

This is only about half of them. The other 250 are beyond the trees up there. The question came up of how I knew there were 500 stairs and the answer is they were numbered! And I don't know if I was just getting winded or the steps were getting spaced apart more but when I started up these I could take 2 at a time but not so much closer to the top ;)
