At the beach today with my princess, and what a fantastic day it was! Weather perfect, water warm, just enough of a breeze to let you know it was there.
A funny moment was when my daughter wanted to go into the Portside Gallery and there it was - a different version of my Boat Houses picture (http://www.photoblog.com/londonshutter/2007/06/04/) framed and matted for $80.- I was a bit amazed it was so inexpensive. And speaking of that, all the art there seemed very reasonably priced, Big 36x24-ish oil paintings in the $300-600 range. And decent stuff to, not Bob Ross 'let's put a nice fluffy cloud right about there' type of painting. Seems kinda low to me but I've never bought art.
Thanks for the compliments guys. We definitely have some extremes of weather here. That exact lifeguard tower is barely visible in this picture, look almost dead centre and yuo can see it...
