These wind farm turbines are the neatest thing. On my way home I was thinking what would a scaled down wind turbine cost? Like, say a community in a city pool their money together and have one built and then 'get off the grid'? Sell the surplus to the utility and then buy it back when the turbine wasn't generating enough power. Definitely the way of the future. Just think when our vehicles and scooters are electric, we could charge them up with wind power. I hope I'm alive to see the day that becomes a reality.

So I Google wind farms to find out what a tower costs and I'm completely amazed at how much negative publicity these things generate! Comments that they are ugly. Build one in my backyard, just plug me in please and thanks. Noisy. I was standing underneath these, just a calm 'whoosh' sound. Makes one wonder who is hating and what do they have to gain by doing so.
