The happy pedal mashed to the floorboards and yelling GO GO GO!
Over the long weekend here in Canada the local rally club put on an event so a friend and I took it in. I ran the GTI and just to toot my own horn a bit, 31 racers ran it and in raw numbers I did 16th place but but but...
Once tires were taken into equation and I was given my bonus for running street rubber where a lot of the racers had sticky track slicks, I got bumped up to 8th out of 31st. I'm happy!!!
Thanks Blur! Very happy with my placing and the (not) cool thing is this GTI has an automatic in it. Because the times were so tight I'm pretty sure I could have placed one or two better if I had a stick.
