Earlier this week I sent
Hey Rosetta! an email asking if they could get me a stage/media pass so I could shoot their show from inside the security fence and they did! So Friday comes around and I leave work an hour early, skip dinner, and just hit the road. What normally takes me 1 hr/45 mins plus or minus a bit turned into 3 hours 15 mins with the construction, a multi-car accident that turned 3 lanes into 1 and general Toronto traffic, including a Blue Jays game!!! PHUUUCCCKKK!!!! Parked the car at a few minutes after 8:00 and the show started at 8:00 so I booked it and ran my buns off to the stage and get there half way through thier opening song, climbing over seatbacks and pushing my way up front. Made it! Just made it. No time to check in and go through an ID check so I couldn't take advantage of that pass. Thanks to Hey Rosetta! for taking the effort and getting the pass for me. They seem really down to earth and approachable. Good people. And they put on a kickin' show to boot.
