No holiday in Hurghada is complete without a lunch at famous Felfela Restaurant. Felfela is a well-established chain of restaurants offering typical Egyptian food and existing since some 20 years.
Felfela Hurghada is worth a visit not only for the great choice of excellent Egyptian cuisine but also because of its stunning location on a cliff with glorious sea view. Giftun Island with its necklace of coral reefs and turquoise waters is the perfect background for a delicious meal.
The restaurant is composed by several terraces at different levels, so from every table you have a beautiful view. The décor is typically Egyptian, with some antiques here and there, some local pottery and some curios such as tables made from old sewing machines and shades made out from bedposts.
The extensive menu includes the best-known mezzah, or appetizers, such as tahina, falafel, babaganough, hummus, kebab or my favorite maashi, or stuffed vegetables. Out of the wood oven come perfect grills, whether meat or fish, and no matter what, don't miss the delicious grilled lamb cutlets! Specialties of the house are the stuffed pigeons and the rack of lamb. To complement a perfect meal, nothing better than the rich Om Ali, a mouth-watering dessert. And to relax after the meal, their shishas, or waterpipes with perfumed tobacco, are between the best in town.

Looks like a great place and the food sounds divine. Go diving after eating that lot and you'll sink like a stone!
