i wonder why i've never commented on this? well, here you are: i've no idea how you did this, but it is one of the best shots of the night sky i've ever seen. usually, when you look up there, you see this massive amount of blinking dots, some a little brighter, some a little dimmer. it's always so hard to remember that all of these stars are unreachable. in your shot, for what photographic reason ever, some of the dots have become shining huge lights and they almost look like i could grip up there and take them down from the sky. what a promise! what a wonderful thing it would be if we could, every now and then, reach out for a start, having it burning sizzling in the palm of our hands... and release it again into the night sky. i think life would be different if that would be possible all the time. :-)
