we met this brillant guitar player in centre of winterthur… he performed a beautiful interpretation of « stand by me » that glued me to the pathway. I`ve given jamie a chf coin to to thank for great song. next day the neighbour – a kind italian lady - came over and told me that jamie rang on her door and when she opened, he was sitting on his chair, front of the door, playing on his harmonica and when he finished the performance, held out his „bob the builder“ hat for reward… he got fine biscuits ;)

That is so funny, Monica! And good for Jamie to not be shy. My kids grew up playing instruments and at a certain age, probably around 14, they were actually quite good but quit wanting to play when people asked. So I made a 'secret' deal with them that if they would play when it was requested, I would later give them a dollar. They started playing for people again! :-) DancingDolphin · 2010-05-31: 17:29
