a photo like this makes me happy like lyency, but i know why: it has this quality of realism, structure and random objects in a landscape that no tourist would want to depict; and yet, this IS an oasis; it has a "tree", it has a shelter, it speaks survival in the desert. it also says something political about the development of this place which is in contradiction to the development of your history here, i guess. if you mix oil and water, it's called an emulsion. that's what life has to offer when you're old enough to care about it. :-) stormfish · 2010-07-12: 14:33
