Well, it's good like a metaphorical concept image, but i think that it would be really willpower, if you will try to climb the waterfalls (i'm sure that you have and intimate and burning desire to do it!). Although for us do it is an inhuman effort, is an instinctive force for the salmons, not willpower than will to live. Very good shot, but you would need a largest zoom lens next time.
