Weekend Drive in Teller County, Colorado
2008.10.10
The day was cloudy, breezy, and a bit chilly. Even though sunshine and blue skies would've added some color, the aspen still provided blazes of gold, yellow, and green. The first five photos were taken on the highway between Divide and Cripple Creek, and the two at the bottom near our friends' land north of Divide - Aspen Moors.

Ok, the first 2 here for me. In the 1st the colours are wonderfully reflected and subdued by distance...the second I admire for the diagonal and vertical nature of the components of the body reflected (by waterfall?) in background. Again the wild animal shots are exceptional in the moment of them :))
