Spent weekend before last at my brother’s house near Kansas City. Was delighted to see the birds coming to feed on their deck and much enjoyed shooting them. Had some help keeping an eye out and identifying them from my sister-in-law’s father. Thanks for all your help, Pappy!

I like them all except #1. That woodpecker variety make large holes in two houses we used to live in that had some cedar siding. They REALLY are agressive, but that's a nice photo of this one! lgnelson · 2010-02-23: 22:49
