This is one of the most interesting contributions to the MOP (for me, I hasten to add). All the expectation is there; we know what's going to happen thanks to this timely and evocative capture and we can easily conceive the rest - all without seeing it. Wonderful!
I hope he enjoyed it. I imagine that if chocolate was involved, there was quite a bit of cleaning up afterwards.
yes Marsha , Stephan is right! I think after eating he and his brother were both for nice cleaning, and the table too and others, but this is not very important, eating is really great pleasure ! and waiting for it is sometimes very exciting.M.
What a wonderful photograph, Marsha! Not only does it visually display the anticipation and suspense that "little brother" was experiencing, your words so beautifully portrayed the quality of the thoughts that must have surely been in his mind! I just love how he is holding that little red fork!!!!
I really don't understand why you're making such a big fuss about him being 18 months old. Ageism cuts both ways you know? ;)
I'm almost 40 and still look exactly the way he does with a fork in my hand when there's cake around. The only difference is that my baby high chair fell apart on me a few years ago... and I can't seem to find one that fits me anymore :(
