Mysterious

While shooting the reflection of the sun caught in the trees of a little pond I discovered something intriguing. In looking at the sun directly or even the reflection in the water I saw no color, but it was there on the camera's lcd screen. The logical explanation is there, I'm sure, but I'd rather just enjoy it than try to explain it. See quote below ;)))

No; we have been as usual asking the wrong question. It does not matter a hoot what the mockingbird on the chimney is singing. The real and proper question is: Why is it beautiful? --Annie Dillard

????? Gorgeous abstracts! That happened to me once too while shooting a statue. When I looked at the screen later, there were the sun rays streaming down.

????? I know you probably don't want me to but I think I can explain it...

Sometimes if we don't use our cameras for a while or if we have things in storage, a little mouse can nibble it's way through the outer casing and build a comfortable nest and home for itself inside...when this happens usually the camera is ok for a while...but if the mouse gets bored, it might want to do some art classes or something like this. Everytime you plug the camera into your computer the mouse might be downloading some home tuition modules from the internet. And yes, I think you know what happens next!...
When the mouse is making some experimental pieces for the course, it is inevitable that it will mess around with your colour settings inside your camera. I would say that mouse had been drawing whirlpools and rainbows the night before you took the pics.
I once had a similar problem with a seagull...the easiest way to deal with it is either to coax the mouse out from the camera with chesse on toast, or to take the camera into a camera repair shop and explain exactly what the problem is :-))

Hope that helps
