PTC: Manitou Springs in Sepia Tones

Stone steps off Manitou Avenue going to up residences and inns. This is a favorite photo op spot for tourists.

This double structure has housed several different businesses in the last few years from ice cream shop to psychic's "office," to bakery. The roof color was so bold I had to keep it. Little story: Last summer my older daughter visited with her friend, the psychic, and then went out to sit with my younger daughter at one of the tables outside the building. It was early evening and the lights were on in the place. A bit after they left my younger asked my older, "Through the window, I saw a guy in there with her, who was it?" My older said, "What? She was in there all by herself!!" (well, apparently not!) Verrrryyy mysterious... ;))

Really nice... that first shot is so sharp, I like it... did you use an infrared filter in processing?

That is an interesting story! My youngest just had some reading done...odd stuff for sure! I just love all of these shots and prefer the tones in the last best!

Well, I was gonna say how much I liked #2's selective coloring, until I got to #3! Wowzers - incredible image, Marsha! The perspective, subtle tones, and faded framing make it really stunning!

Ha ha, I loved the story! as so as the pictures, especially those ones with sepia tones. I can imagine myself spending some days in that house in shot 1.
