Photo Technique Challenge: Contre-jour

2012.04.27

This plant was about 18 inches/46 cm tall....so you can imagine where I was when I took the shot! In the dirt!
I think people walking by on a nearby trail were worried when they saw me lying there....one lady even waved to
make sure I was okay :)))

I am the dew
Gifted with life for a moment or two
That I for my time
May sparkle and shine
O Sun, come fill me with you."

karmankwarner Great Capture. It is interesting to think how many things this is a normal view for. An Ant's eye view of the world. :) Wonderfully captured. Like that someone paid attention enough to wonder if you were alright.

ASINUS ´Marsha, it's obvious that you need a POWERSHOT G12, just like mine. This tipe of shots are amazing but is more easy and effective to get it from the ground when you can see throught a revolving screen! Only 500$ can open you an unimaginable world of wonders! THESE ARE ONLY A TASTE Or change your SLR by a new camera with revolving screen incorporated.

This time the idea is so good, but i think that the results are no good enough for your aptitude. You need some nice flower and a very blue sky or coloured background upstairs. Try again, i'm sure you can do it better! In your country, do you have not flowers on the windowsill? Then you don't will need to crawl along the ground!
ASINUS · 2012-04-28: 09:13
ASINUS HERE another example, this on the more single flower.
