Well these are certainly all beautiful shots... I'm glad you are in a better place! I have a friend vacationing here (in Michigan) who left their home in Colorado Springs 2 days BEFORE the fire started. The fire is within 1/2 mile of her home, and they had no opportunity to take anything!

I hope you can enjoy your forced vacation....at least a little bit anyway. It looks like you've parked yourself in a beautiful place, away from the danger. I'm sure the fires will end soon and you can return to your home. I just know it.

I think you made a wise move. Hope you are now able to relax a little - but obviously you are still very concerned about your property and your neighbours. If you look at my today's post, you will see that I did a rain dance for you, but unfortunately I got the coordinates wrong. The last thing we need for this summer, is MORE rain.
