I had my eye on some capiz hanging lamps at Target. They were fifty bucks each, occassionally on sale for less, but I wanted two for my window alcoves. Couldn't justify spending that much. Today, at Big Lots, I found paper lanterns for only five bucks each! Same effect, and 1/10th the price... and I had a 20% off coupon! Yay, me! They go well with my multi-cultural decor in my living room.

The forecast for today was morning clouds to afternoon sun. The weatherman lies. No sun. None. At all. Just dreary, cloudy, grey skies. But at least it was warm-ish.
