Trying to keep clean

2008.02.19
Yesterday's muddy paw prints. These are obviously not Beav's. Judging by their size, the only logical conclusion is that they belong to a Chupacabra.

His tail has so much more BOUNCE right after a bath.

Ya can't outrun the wind, Beavis.

His reaction when I said, "Try to stay clean today, okay?"

His color just look fabulous here. It's nice when his whites are whiter and his brights are brighter.

"But.. I WANT to jump in the creek!!!"

Uh... Beav? Ya got a little something on your face.

Moss on a manhole cover. It almost makes me dizzy to look at it, like a Magic Eye picture.

Beavis had to fully inspect this railroad tie. Tie? Ty? Which is it? It's weird. It's a word I've used all my life, but I don't think I've ever had to spell it.

He was really, really interested.

I liked it too, but I wasn't about to rub my face on it.

Great big spike.

Pretty little pinecone.

Maybe I should start using his conditioner. I'd like hair with body, flow and bounce like that.

Shh. It's still there. He hasn't spotted it yet.

Ice on the mulch in the playground.

More ice on the mulch. It looked neat with the leaves embedded in it.

Deja vu all over again... he's spotted the ball.

The wind on his buttfur made me giggle.

"I will walk on water to get to Mr. Ball!"

"On second thought, this is cold, slippery and is starting to make crackly noises."

Big pile of leaves in the northeast corner of the Little League field. To me, it's a big pile of leaves. To Beavis, any collection of leaves is officially "a tree," and therefore, must be peed on.

One second before a Pekingese Power Sneeze.

Good to know that Gypsy's been keeping the house safe while we were out.

It was so sunny, she barely had pupils.

Ideally, I'd like Beavis to stay clean at least one day after a bath. Luckily for me, the temp was 30 degrees colder this morning than it was yesterday morning, so all the mud had solidified and all the puddles were frozen.

I went back to work today from the flu. Why is it that you feel a million times better at home than at work? At home, I felt fine. At work, I just wanted to sit down and close my eyes. Probably because when I'm at home, I can sit down and close my eyes whenever I need to, and at work, the second my butt hits the chair, something needs to be done.

This was one of those days that a nice cushy desk job would have been nice.
