One of these days, I'm going to have to get Fritz down the park with us, so I can get shots of Beavis playing soccer from the front. I want to get out from behind the leash!
It's too bad he can't be trusted off-leash. As much as I hate when people bring their dogs to the vet's on retractables, they're a great solution for a dog without reliable recall. Beavis listens really well, as long as there's no distractions. He does tricks, he waves, high fives, plays dead, even jumps through a hoop, but there's no way he's going to listen to me when there's a squirrel to be chased, another dog to sniff, or a soccer ball to be played with.
