It's sprung!

2008.03.20
Just Gracie.

Daffodils starting to come up among the crabapples in my back yard. If nothing else, my garden is well fertilized thanks to that crabapple tree.

Beavis scampering in the park. This was his first good walk since Tuesday morning, so he was full of energy.

It was, however, a tad bit windy.

Leaves starting to come out on a wild rose bush.

Thorns.

Beavis looking oh-so intelligent.

Reflections in a puddle.

I tried to get Beavis to play on the playground. I did get him to follow me down a slide once, but on the second go round, I went down the slide, and he climbed back down the steps.

He's just the happiest looking dog I know.

The wind was blowing his magnificent plume all around.

Tulips starting to come up in a neighbor's yard.

"I'm laughing at you!!!"

I filled the windowboxes under my front windows with some silk pansies. It'll be about two months before I can plant something real in there (portulacas do best) and I don't want them to sit empty.

Gypsy approves.

Yay, Spring! You wouldn't know it from the below freezing wind chills or snow flurries in the air, but the sun is shining for the first time since Monday, and spring is finally here!

So what better way to spend the afternoon than to replace the (fake) poinsettas in my window boxes with (fake) pansies. :)

Beagles3 Gotta love the wind blowing through our Beavis's furry tail plume! I really like the close-up photos of the tulips and daffodils erupting from the earth. Really nice set

ncshutterbug Love this set! I like seeing the daffodils and tulips start pushing up from the ground.

It was very windy here, too. I had to get gas, and I think my hair was completely horizontal the entire time.
