We're going to have Easter dinner with my parents. They always say, "Don't get us anything!" for any holiday, but I still like getting my mom some kind of flowers. The rest of my siblings always seem to try to outdo each other getting the biggest Easter lily they can find. I go for bright instead. Last year, it was gerber daisies. This year, orange tulips.
And I always fudge around the "no presents" rule by getting something for Chester (aka Chet, aka Chester Von Wigglebutt), their fifteen year old terrier mix. He's getting a basket of cookie shaped biscuits and little rawhide chews from Petco, and a bag of Beggin' Strips. No, they're not exactly healthy, but he's fifteen frickin' years old, and if he wants to eat junk food... Well, then you go right ahead and eat it, Chet.
I'll have to remember to take my camera and get pictures of Chet. He's black and shaggy, so very hard to photograph, but I can probably do good with the new camera.
