Just a jumble.

2008.05.03
A neighbor's lilacs.

Beavis the Proud.

Profile, deep in thought.

Doesn't it make you want to blow on it?

The flowering trees along the trail smell so pretty. They're almost done, but the wild roses shouldn't be far behind.

Run, Beavis, Run!

Could he look any goofier?!

A backyard visitor.

I hope she's not planning to nest in my backyard. A rabbit did that the first year I had Beavis, and it was such a pain. I'd just finished fencing in the yard so he could run and play, and I had to keep him on a leash until the bunnies left the nest.

And away she goes...

Today was Gypsy's turn at the vet.

Since she didn't gain weight (actualy lost 3/10 of a pound) she got treats when she got home.

She can hear the kittens, but not see them, try as she might.

Pippin likes to attack the towel draped over their cage.

Fergus is getting more of a personality, but is afraid of the camera, so he looks the same in every picture. It's going to be confusing when he and Gypsy are the same size.

Peke-a-boo!

Some of today's photos were taken yesterday. There's no rhyme or reason to this post, just a jumble of pictures taken yesterday and today that do a good job of recording my days. A few months from now, and it'll be a blur. Hell, a few minutes from now, it might be a blur!

Fergus and Pippin are becoming little poop factories. I swear, those two poop more in a day than the big ones go in a week! And can they eat! It seems like I'm constantly refilling food bowls and emptying the litterbox. And there is no smell much more foul than kittenpoop. And I'm exposed to a lot of foul smells.

They're doing better... getting braver and more outgoing. Pippin especially is coming around. Fergus still hisses a lot, but isn't as afraid. Neither tries to bite or scratch.

Still no luck catching the other kittens. I almost snagged one today, but I was too slow. It was longhaired like Fergie but had white whiskers like Pip. It'd be a lot easier if they were on my property, or at least not across the street. Crossing the street can be like playing a game of Frogger, avoiding the traffic. I just hope we can catch the rest of the little guys before a car does. :(

ncshutterbug Such sweetie-pies, all of them! I love the first one of Beavis - it looks like he's trying to catch snowflakes, except it's not snowing. :-P

Beagles3 Oh I love the jumble of pet and friends photos. Such great photos as usual of my fav Beavis. The Peke-a-boo is adorable. The kitties are looking so cute. I am really have a hard time not adopting a kitten with the flood in the shelters already this spring.

Liselaime Oh, I love the running shots. And if I see any more adorable kitten photos I'll be tempted to adopt one myself!
