The things you find when cleaning. This is a very old picture, probably from about 1989, that I took of our old cat Dotti with my Kodak Disc. It wasn't staged. I was drawing, got up to answer the phone or something, and Dotti was playing with my pencil. Just dumb luck that the pencil point would be right on the line when I snapped the picture.

I was drawing, got up to answer the phone or something, and Dotti was playing with my pencil. Just dumb luck that the pencil point would be right on the line when I snapped the picture.
It rained today, so I spent the whole day cleaning and rearranging my "studio" space upstairs. Yikes. Some of that furniture hadn't been moved in at least two years, probably more. Fur. Everywhere.
At one point, I had more fur on me than Beavis. Black's not a good color to wear when you're cleaning up cat fur. Even though the majority of my cats are and have been black, the tumbleweeds of fur are always grey. I'll never understand that. I brush Gypsy, I get grey fur in the brush. I brush Gracie, same thing -- grey fur.
I'd like to say I'm done, but I think I just made things worse. Clutter and mess just got moved from one room to another. I wish this house had better storage. There's no attic and really only one usuable closet. Time to toss out stuff I don't use and won't use.
