When I took this picture, I meant it to be a symbol of hope. They little flower that withstood the drought and bloomed while everything else shriveled. It's appropriate that it's out of focus.

Mom's not doing well at all and unless some miracle happens, won't make it. The septic shock she went into two weeks ago damaged her body beyond recovery, and her heart and lungs are failing. Right now, she's comfortable and able to rest, and brightens up when she sees her family. That's what I have to focus on right now. That's she's comfortable and knows we all love her.
