Another beautiful Sunday morning (although not as early as we normally go) saw Cherax, jpfromoz, FaTmAn and me on a photographic assignment at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS).

This is where Australia's elite athletes come to train and learn. Set up after Australia's dreadful olympic performance in Montreal, the institute is a state of the art training complex. Athletes live in residence and all of their special needs are attended to. It has recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. Judging by Australia's sporting achievements against much bigger countries I think they must be doing something right.
