Playing around with gels on flashes/strobes. The warming gel on the first one is a little too strong for my liking.
The second one was without any background gel flash being used and no warming gel on the main light. For me it is a little too cool.
Will now work on getting the balance right (as long as my model cooperates :-))
Ok here is a little competition for you. Can anyone guess what I shot the blue flash through to get the shadow effect on the wall? The correct term is a cookie.
I will post a set up shot at a later date but in the mean time will keep you guessing.

Darn, I see I should have come here first to make a guess. Looking at these i still would have said a window. I do agree, you've really nailed the lighting down on the next post. Bravo to your model, lovely! ; )
