Farellones

A family picture! :) The director of the school had wished us "enjoy yourselves" and we definitely did! I guess a Dutch school director would have reacted rather differently when confronted with a family skipping school just to enjoy the snow! :)

Since we don't ski, we have neither the equipment nor the experience, we went "tubbing" which means you get launched down a big slide whilst sitting on a rubber thingy. Lots of fun. We noticed though that since it was pretty warm (in Santiago it was 26c, up in the mountains 20+) the snow began to melt which decreased the speed considerably. Still lots of fun though!

One hour of going down and up and down and up, Saskia loved it as you can see in the picture!

After an overdose of snow and sun, we had a pizza lunch indoors, stunning view though!
