Yak

2008.01.04

We drive by this yak every morning on the way to school. Seriously.

For Christmas he had this message for us. Nice to know he wishes for world peace isn't it?

(Anybody know if this is actually a yak? My girlfriend, who lives across the street from it, says it's a bull... I think a bull has huge horns, no? And isn't a yak the animal with the big bump? Or is that an ox?)

lennonf Nice fun shot. It is not a Yak. Try an Ox.

kopaczandras Interesting animal, like the Milka cow - I am not sure that it's yak, I will look in the dictionary for the English name of this animal.

Dad Actually, I think it's a Brahma Bull.
They're considered sacred in India.
Google Brahma Bull and you'll see lots of them. Some with big horns, some little, some none.
Some even identical to yours.
