See that tiny mark above her belly button?? That cost us 4 hours in Urgent Care last night.

My youngest fell while riding her bike and the handlebars jammed right into her little belly.

She seemed to be doing just fine, complaining at times interspersed with jumping on the trampoline!

By the next day she was still complaining about it and she seemed more tired than usual.

Of course being a paranoid mom, I commence to googling abdominal injuries in children (NEVER google abdominal injuries in children unless you're prepared to jump in the car and drive to the nearest ER ;)

Next thing you know we're down at Urgent Care for 4 hours.
3.5 of those hours were spent in the front seat of our car with a beeper to let us know when it was our turn.

During the course of those 3.5 hours I came to the conclusion that SHE WAS JUST FINE!!!

But I slept much better that night after having her looked at by a dr.
Funny how that can magically erase some of your worries ;)
