Aren't they just massive? I like the way you've got them to a bit of scale with the car in shot :) The government here has plans to install these along the coast, in what they term a windfarm - which is what that must be that you drove past.

I am also fascinated by windmills. They create spectacular landscapes with a powerful surreal quality that you preserved well here.

They look very much like the ones we have here in the UK. They are wind turbines, which convert the energy from the wind into electricity. I love them.
