Practicing Portraits (again)

2008.09.12

Today my fun, fotog friend (do you like that alliteration??) & I went to the park for some practice. She has decided to start shooting in RAW and I got a new lens (50mm 1.4) that I need to shoot more with.

I'm having trouble with my color calibration on my laptop. The photos look exactly how I want them to in Photoshop but when I save them and look at them in other programs (Irfanview, email) they look like they've lost their color. They aren't as vivid and the skintones have a greyish, ashen look to them.

Frustrating!

leocheung Very impressive tone.
It's difficult to get the color right on a laptop monitor.
