Reflections...

Our county school district has a special arts program called, "Reflections" that is run every year.

Kids can participate and submit a piece of art that goes along with the yearly theme.

This year's theme was "WoW".

Baby Girl decided to submit something in the (surprise!) Photography category.

I cannot even begin to tell you how much fruit was bruised during the taking of this photo.
If I had known she was doing this in the kitchen, I would've helped her catch all that fruit that repeatedly fell on the ground.

As luck would have it, I was in my office working on (surprise!) photos.

I did wonder what all the thumping was about ;)

When she finally got her tower of fruit arranged, she came to tell me that she had built a beautiful tower of fruit in the light of the setting sun and she wanted to photograph it.

I set my camera on auto for her, and she snapped away.

She was very proud of her work of art.
We were all very impressed with her work too.

And lucky for her... the judges of the "Reflections" competition were impressed as well and she won a Ribbon of Merit.
