young friends are playing in the orchestra of the city. yesterday i went to see their rehearsal. good opportunity to forget about the war, economic crises, getting older...
and a good opportunity of taking pictures of young people still interested in recreating fabulous sounds, quite a senseless an unproductive activity....
a big concert shot? not now, perhaps one day...

Why do you have a black frame on every single pic of urs? Nice shot! it would be better if the head of that audience cross the stage line. Or cut this picture into 2 pics can be interesting.

thnx for the comments, you gave me very good ideas to think about! i usually do not use wide black frame like this one, just a thin black border line around the image. i set this format up with the background colors etc. when i first registered to the photoblog. why? - to separate an image from the background - together with a wide white border the black surrounding would mimic the white mat and the black frame that i always apply when hanging pics on the wall. but i changed the setting to see how the photo shows without the frame (do you think it will show better and less traditional?) i'll try variations of this concert shot in a next posting as you are suggesting, maybe something better will come out from it ... :/)
