…..good studio session last night. I met some new associates and look forward to sharing some ideas with them. They asked me to give them an idea of what I was working on. I explained the concept of using the elements of metal and gourds to create emotional gestures. My usual colleagues know that I seldom share that much detail when I’m preparing for an exhibit….but that’s the heart of this work, ‘opening up one’s life and letting others look in’.
