Found this in one of the older districts in town. I'm not sure what it is - there was a matching one on the other side of two sets of stairs (there was a car in the way, so I couldn't get the whole shot).

Was it a pair of monuments, bases for hitching posts - any ideas?

GnatBytes Not sure. It could be part of a monument or was part of a staircase leading up to a house that is no longer there? I am not sure, but let us know if you find out.

wagz98 Yes it would be interesting to know...maybe another house aruond town in that area might have something similar?
