Then we drove a few blocks to the Original Nathan's Famous Hot Dog place.

Driving through Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, we see that it is still a predominantly Italian neighborhood!

We went to watch my nephew play in his high school hockey team, in Coney Island, Brooklyn. The rink is located next to the "Parachute Jump" that thankfully reached landmark status or would have been torn down, the Coney Island Boardwalk and KeySpan Park where the Brooklyn Cyclones play (the NY Mets minor league baseball team). From the parking lot we saw an emotional 9/11 memorial that I did not know existed and a memorial to Pee Wee Reese and Jackie Robinson of the Brooklyn Dodgers.

beautiful set, I really like hockey photos and shot nr. 15, but I donàt like nr 17 beacaus I'm a supporte of NAPOLI team :)

Thanks for the great photos. They give me insight into a place I probably will never go. (I'm a terrible homebody. I like to be home by dark.) I never knew about the Pee Wee Reese, Jackie Robinson thing but I'm going to research it. Thanks again.
