Inside today!
Believe it or not...this is my medicine cabinet bought in a "junk shop" in Chatillon (where I go to market Saturday mornings).
Söt took an interest directly I opened its doors...fluffy bath mats are stored in the bottom.
I re-faced the slatted wooded open work with blue satin given to me by my neighbour who worked for the Lyon textile industry.
The central table was part of my mother's old plastic garden furniture. I made the clothes to match...all sorts of junk is stored under there!
Note my wall bars to your left!
The third photo is just to prove it's a "working bathroom"...the wooden wall piece is the carved top of an old opium chest.

eratomymuse What a great piece of furniture! Love what you did with the satin. Might I add - nice BIG bathroom! The average bathroom on this side of the pond is quite small compared to this!

marilynx Our home is 140 years old, modern homes have smaller bathrooms here too. The house was 2 apartments originally...we converted the upstairs kitchen into a second more modern bathroom, but exactly the same size. I love re-designing homes...this is our 4th attempt and probably the best as experience has taught much.

2write Hello

:-p

You know that bathroom is awesome. I would rent it out and live there when I come over someday - it is huge!
