Day 76 - Flobots Meet Goth Ballerina Meets Harrison Bergeron

The party she never attended.............

The test results came back...she wasn't sure she wanted to know...

The damage was permanent...She would live, but never the same...if only the accident hadn't happened.

She had been in the house for years....poetry was her only friend

The dreams of becoming a dancer had come and gone....though some afternoons she daydreamed.

after isolating herself for so long, she became lonely and worked on a radio device to find someone to talk to.

Flobots - No Handlebars
This was a rather odd progression. I was cleaning up the house since we were going to have company over (hi mom) and I was scrambling to get my pictures done for the day. I originally started by taking pictures of odd things laying around. After taking the first picture, I thought of the title..."the party she never went to". The next random thing in the house that I thought would be odd, was a MRI. All of a sudden, a story started developing about a girl who was involved in an accident and became isolated. It also made me think of Harrison Bergeron by Kurt Vonnegut. If you haven't read it, it's a short story you can find here:http://www.tnellen.com/cybereng/harrison.html
