The "Stones" song was Satisfaction. At least one of them. And I'm Satisfied with the continuation of the adventures of the narrator.

the music of the "sound of stones" is described here with persuading power and quite beautifully. meanwhile, i find that the added lyrics and the "sounds of the soul" in the narrative are slightly heavier than the usual inner monologues (such as in the previous opus)

YES. And i'll hum with the stones! I think I react a lot to the abstractness of the imagined weight of the stones in contrast to how its song lifts the soul so high it is achingly sweet. and the mention of darkness that seems to add more heaviness, that it is almost like a tug of war of notes to me followed by an extravagant climax of the collision of tones when you said "full spectrum of tones". And I like it. But I play the melody in my mind and it is not simple. I guess it's because i liken the experience to listening to classical music, as the notes get sharper, higher, more complicated the more i want to listen; the more i am challenged to single out every note I hear. I don't know but I associate too much stuff to this text entirely. But really, that second paragraph, that's music to my ears. And I am no insincere flatterer so let me say that I think you'll do more justice to the well-composed melody if you did more of the 'kyrie, kyrie' kind of ancient lyrlics and let the stones enjoy their 'right' to be cryptic because they are cold, hard, solid. You've already softened them with the beautiful melody. :D
