All LDS temples have a golden angel on top

The temple is made of limestone. The walls are 9 feet thick at the base and 6 feet thick at the top. It took 40 years to build.

This was the temple they used while waiting for the big one to be completed.

The pipe organ in the Mormon Tabernacle. It contains more than 10,000 pipes!

We were lucky enough to hear an organ recital this day.
|
The tabernacle is circular and is completely surrounded by doors.
