The Last Restful Day

Dusk on the last day of the winter break. How peaceful it looks, too bad the following dawn will give way to a semester filled with stress and work, lacking in finances and sleep. oh well. It was a bitter cold evening as well. I was wearing some rather crappy tennis shoes i've had for a long while and could feel the cold permeating up through the pavement. my feet still feel chilled.

So i went for a drink at the Kettle house with some friends after having my first day back at work in a while. I heart the Kettle House. Despite the fact that they charge you $3.75 for a pint, when i could easily go get a cold smoke across the street at the bridge for $3, there's just something about the atmosphere. doesn't make spending the extra 75 cents less irritating, just a tidge bit more tolerable.

Cheers, to a fruitful semester and figuring out what i'm going to do with the rest of my life.
