Same as #1, but with the brightness of the sky adjusted, still need to edit spots...any advice?

bojongkim Great shot. I seem to be more drawn to the sepia version. :)

KatysPassionata It's important to try and keep your camera lense clean...as well as your stackable lenses (the small spot towards the trunk of the tree illustrates the issues one has with dust particles on your lenses. I've had several experiences with that issue) Secondly, I would have backed farther away from the tree as to make the sun smaller. When shooting straight into the sun, I rarely allow it to be so big. If you have an editing program, it can help you tone down on the brightness of the sky and give more detail to the clouds that seem washed out or overexposed from the sunglare. I use photoshop, but most I've know of alot of people that use Lightroom. I applaude you for using your exposure compensation feature on your camera, (something alot of beginners dont use) as well as shooting in manual mode! I'd try reshooting (if that is possible) at all kinds of different perspectives...it's funny what results you can get just by tilting your camera a different way or moving a few feet to the right or left...Good luck! and btw, these are lovely photos with great textures!
