These girls were playing some kind of hopscotch, it was different from the one the italian kids play. Italian kids throw the stone in numbered squares, hop through the course, and pick up the stone coming back. These girls instead of pick up the stone, pushed the stone along the course staying on one foot. They were really good at it :D
