This is Emma, she and her 'siblings' sat with me at the craft table. She's an alum of our rescue program (was saved the day before she was due to be euthanized!) and is now a certified therapy dog. Such a sweet girl!

This is Star, another of my craft table buddies. She's also an alum and was horribly abused before finding her wonderful forever home. She's also a certified therapy dog and has done wonders with autistic preschoolers!

And finally, Herbie the love bug!! Also an alum, he was found roaming the streets in a "not so great" neighborhood. He's still a little too 'active' to get his therapy dog status, but man is he a lover (and a licker!) :)

Today we had a special adoption event at Wildwood Park to celebrate the Blade's "Pet Idol" contest. I worked our craft table and we did pretty darn well!
Unfortunately I was kind of half-under a tent for a good part of the day so my left side got sunburnt and my right side is still pale as a ghost.... just my luck.
