OOPS! Dropped the fuse into the engine only to realize that it also controls the RADIO which is pretty important when it comes to watching a movie at the drive-in!!!!

Tonight we saw Dark Knight (awesome!!) and Get Smart (pretty funny) at the Drive-In.
The fuse was located but couldn't be dislodged from where it was wedged into the engine. So it was swapped out with the fuse for the headlights, just for the movie, then swapped back for the drive home. Only problem was, it controlled the dome light, radio AND all of the dashboard. No gauges = no good! A 2:30am trip to Wal-Mart was in order! :) :)
I think I'm getting too old for this stuff though... getting home after 3am reaaaaally makes you tired the next day!! :(

oh...love the drive in...love love love THe Dark Knight!!
We went to the Drive-in a few weeks ago for 'Get Smart' and 'The Love Guru'...and it was a bit of a hassle because F's car wouldn't play the radio continually without the key in the ignition, and wouldn't have the key in the ignition without the lights on. It sounds as though you had much more of a hassle than we did though...glad you enjoyed the movie part!
