We did a day hike up to Huckleberry Point in the Catskills today. It was about a 2.5 mile trek up to the views which were great. They could of been better but it was very foggy most of the weekend. Its a really fun hike, not overly hard either and the views are well worth it.
From what I know its not a popular hike, but it should be for the great hike through dense woods and the views at the end.
On the way back we found a great place to set up camp across from a fast running creek that would provide us with a place to "shower" and get drinking water from.
You can view tomorrows entry to see what happened to the creek after a giant thunderstorm at around 1am.
