Here is the start of a terrorism drill done by the NYPD in NYC. This one is around the Times Square area.
What they basically do is line a street with cop cars like you are seeing happen on both sides.. Its always funny to watch tourists faces when this is happening. its times like these that you can really spot the real NYers. They just keep walking like nothing is happening.
