MOCAD is a 22,000 square foot facility located where a former car dealership stood. The museum opened in 2006 and has had several exhibitions. Admission is free, however donations are accepted.
The Holy Hip-Hop! exhibit was featured February 8-April 20, 2008. The exhibit the paintings of Alex Melamid of 12 hip hop icons.
I would have taken more photos of the exhibit however right after shooting the one of 50 Cent the tour guide informed me photos were not allowed. I hate when that happens...
